I speak your language...
Far too often people who work in this field only speak in jargon. My teaching background has been valuable in making information about complicated processes and technical matters easy to consume. If you have a question I want to answer it, in terms you'll understand.
I keep you in the loop...
See the client login link in the upper right corner? That's for you. I manage all my projects with the online project management software Basecamp. In it you can keep track of project milestones, task lists, and get email updates on what progress is being made each day. I also make myself available via phone even after business hours and check my email often.
Focused attention...
It's my policy that I only take on two large projects at any given time. You won't be competing with 30 other clients for my attention.
I'll tell you if I can't do it...
I'm honest with my clients about my abilities. If something's over my head, I'll tell you rather than act like I know it all. However, if a project needs a special skill set I have a network of programmers that I can call on for help or additional work.
Onshore goodness...
Perhaps offshore prices seem appealing...$12 an hour for professional services seems pretty good. The catch is that all too often, the quality (especially in terms of design) is sub par. I'm situated right here in New York, and I know what I'm worth, so you can expect quality product from me at all times.
